The open position requires an independently KENTUCKY licensed LPCC, LCSW, LPP or LMFT, a clean background, ability to operate efficiently and independently and have very good references. Our clinical staff provide a very high standard of care that is expected from the clients we serve. Clinicians set their own hours and schedule, provide care with minimal paperwork, and have the clinical freedom to practice within their ethical guidelines, but are required to maintain a high standard of care, ethics and accounting. We do not have a quota or a mandate for the number of clients a clinician sees in a day, week, month or year. Our client capacity is high enough to fill your schedule, at present, in about 2 to 3 weeks. The reimbursement rates we negotiate are very high. We take commercial insurance only. Meets continuing requirements for the Board of Social Work in the state where work is being performed.
PERFORMANCE IMPROVEMENT:
Assists in the process to evaluate patient outcomes, financial and clinical results that can be tracked to measure the success of the Palliative Care Program.
LEADERSHIP:

Education, Credentials, Licenses:

Specialized Knowledge:
Knowledge of Palliative Care and the psychosocial issues of terminally ill patients and their families. Excellent communication skills and the ability to coordinate care well with an interdisciplinary team. Knowledge of Emotional and Mental Disorders and the DSM V diagnoses applicable to palliative care.

UK Department of Psychiatry The Department of Psychiatry seeks an independent licensed professional to serve as a member of a mental health team to provide mental health services to patients within the Surgery Trauma.

The Department of Psychiatry seeks an independently licensed professional to serve as a member of a mental health team to provide mental health services to patients within UK HealthCare‘s Level One Adult Trauma Center. This position’s duties include, but are not limited to individual and group psychotherapy, referrals to community partners, educating patients and families on mental health diagnosis, performing initial diagnostic assessments, and completing appropriate electronic documentation.
Staff therapists will work in a multidisciplinary setting with many opportunities for learning and continuing education.
