The Kentucky Society for Clinical Social Work has dedicated the last 50 years to advancing the profession of clinical social work by promoting high standards, ensuring consumer protection, and advocating for individuals with mental health needs. Since its founding in the 1970s, KSCW has worked toward professional licensure, ethical practice, and continuing education for clinical social workers. The organization has played a key role in legislative efforts to secure the rights and recognition of social workers in Kentucky. Through conferences, training programs, and community outreach, KSCW continues to foster professional growth and improve access to quality mental health care. Today, it serves as the voice of clinical social workers, striving to build a strong and supportive professional community across the Commonwealth.
