Mikka McGee is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and the Regional Clinical Director for LifeStance Health–Kentucky. In this role, she provides clinical leadership and oversight for nine LifeStance locations and more than 100 licensed psychotherapists. She earned her Bachelor of Social Work from Eastern Kentucky University, her Master of Science in Social Work from the University of Louisville, and her Master of Science in Forensic Psychology from Arizona State University. Mikka’s early work in community-based mental health sparked her passion for trauma-related disorders and neurodivergence, particularly ADHD. Her personal experiences with trauma and ADHD further deepened her commitment to specializing in these areas and supporting clients with compassion and authenticity. She has training and extensive experience in several evidence-based trauma interventions, including Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).
