About
Carolynn Lee is a native of Eastern Kentucky. Her social work journey began in Middle Tennessee where she studied at the University of Tennessee College of Social Work. There, she completed her Master of Science in Social Work. She began her career at Centerstone of Tennessee, an organization focused on community-based mental health. In 2013, Carolynn returned home to Kentucky and became certified with the Kentucky Board of Social Work. She served as the Director of Victim Services with the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office for nearly a decade where she advocated for victims of intimate partner violence while collaborating with community partners in the criminal justice system. Carolynn is now in private practice in Lexington, where she specializes in using trauma-informed therapeutic tools to empower her clients to heal from traumatic experiences.
