About
Scarlet grew up in Southeastern Kentucky and now resides in Versailles. She and her wife have four children ranging in ages from 7 to 17. Scarlet is the program director at Behavioral Health Group where she supervises and assists counselors and staff who work with adults with opioid use disorders. She obtained her bachelors and master’s degrees from the University of Kentucky. She also spent four years attending seminary where she developed an interest in healing religious trauma. She is certified in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing. Scarlet has worked in a variety of areas of social work including adolescent residential treatment, the Cabinet for Health and Family Services, providing services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, outpatient therapy, and clinical management. Scarlet is passionate about the work of the KSCSW and hopes to help expand the services provided to new and established members.
